Mike Yiannis

Mike joined the firm in January 2003 from Deloitte & Touche where he transferred as part of the transaction with Andersen in the UK. He was with Andersen for over 8 years where he joined after graduating from Oxford University in 1994. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Securities Institute.

Mike has over 11 years experience in Corporate Finance, advising companies, institutions and management teams on a variety of transactions, including company sales, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions. He has experience in various sectors including Support Services, Manufacturing, Building Products, Retail, Chemicals, Healthcare and Technology. Mike has completed over 20 lead advisory deals since he joined Friend and been involved in over 100 transactions during his career to date.

Mike was judged Young Dealmaker of the Year 2004, voted by the Midlands professional community, and nominated for the Birmingham Young Professional Award in 2006. He is a regular public speaker on corporate finance matters, a contributor to the media and is on the Steering Committee of the lobby group Birmingham Business Focus.
