Malcolm Friend

Malcolm joined the firm in 1986. He was previously Finance Director at Ryland Vehicle Group Limited for 5 years. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Co in 1971, and is a graduate of the London School of Economics with a Master's degree in accounting and finance.

Malcolm is partner in charge of Friend LLP's audit and business assurance related services. His clients comprise a variety of successful SMEs, entrepreneurs, banks and venture capitalists. Malcolm enjoys well established relationships with clients, some stretching back nearly 20 years. He is often retained by clients to offer financial advice on a variety of issues including due diligence, financial risk management, business planning, refinancing and strategic direction.
